ఊగెడు పూవువోలెనది యూపిరు లూదగ మాదు గీతితో/
నేగగ పిట్ట వోలె సెలయేరుల నుర్వుల నోలలాడుచున్/
దాగని నవ్వువోలె మది తాకిన తీయని స్వప్నమున్ గనన్/
ప్రోగున ముత్యముల్ చెలగు పోలిక మోసెద మేము డోలికన్/
సాగుచు నొయ్యనొయ్యనుచు జావళిపాడుచు తేలియాడుచున్/

చంపకమాల:
విరిసినతారవోలెహిమబిందువు నందున మాదు గీతికన్/
మెరిసెడు చంద్రరేఖవలె మించు తరంగపు వంపునందునన్/
పరగిన యశ్రు ధారవలె భార హృదంతర యౌ వధూటికిన్/
పురమునొహొమ్మొహొమ్మనెడు బోయిల కూతల సాగె పల్లకీ!

She floats like a laugh from the lips of a dream.
Gaily, O gaily we glide and we sing,
We bear her along like a pearl on a string.

She hangs like a star in the dew of our song;
She springs like a beam on the brow of the tide,
She falls like a tear from the eyes of a bride.
